HGV Refuse Collections Driver

Job Description We are seeking HGV Drivers to support with refuse collections for our client in Longcliffe.HGV Driver (Refuse/Bulky Waste)15.74 per hour (PAYE)Temporary on-goingInduction to be arranged for suitable candidatesRole Responsibilities:- Carry out refuse and recycling collections daily, with skills and knowledge of all machinery aspects of the job.- Undertake all duties in a professional manner deploying safe lifting and handling techniques appropriate to articles left for removal.- Use in-cab technology and mobile devices as directed- Complete relevant paperwork in real time.- Carry out daily inspections and reporting for machinery and vehicles, before and after use- Ensure the cleanliness of machinery and vehicles.- Maintain excellent customer and client relations, particularly with members of the public and other motor users.Working Hours:6am to 3.00pm, Monday - FridayWhat you'll need to succeed:- Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence (with no more than 6 points)- Driver CPC- Willingness to help refuse loaders while on your rounds to enable your team to complete the route within the service level agreement- Good communication and interpersonal skills- Clean drivers licence desirable for all staffIf interested, please apply online today!Blue Arrow is proud to be a Disability Confident Employer and is committed to helping find great work opportunities for great people.JBRP1_UKTJ
