Electrician

The On-Site Group are looking for an Electrician in Marlow. Our client based in Maidenhead are looking to grow their team. They are a well established local business with over 30 years in the industry, delivering domestic and commercial electrical services as well as some industrial across Maidenhead, High Wycombe and surrounding areas. Pay - 35,000 to 44,000 per year (Salary is dependent on experience) Key Responsibilities: Conduct fixed wire testing (EICR Electrical Installation Condition Reports) in accordance with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). Inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and/or residential properties. Carry out first and second fixing works to Domestic and Commercial installations Carry out emergency lighting testing and complete compliance reports. Assist in the rectification of non-compliance issues identified during inspections. Prepare accurate and timely reports following inspections and testing activities. Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure clarity and compliance on testing outcomes. Stay updated on current regulations and best practices related to electrical safety and emergency lighting. Provide technical input or advice for upgrades, repairs, and compliance recommendations. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with health and safety policies. Requirements: Hold a recognized trade qualification, for example City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 City & Guilds 2391 preferable Must have a certificate in BS 7671 - The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 18th Edition. Experience in testing and producing EICRs. Familiarity with emergency lighting systems, testing methods, and relevant legal obligations. Full UK driving license. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
