Surfacing Estimator

Job Description The RoleAs an experienced Estimator, you will work on completing estimations for tarmacking / surfacing projects on Council Frameworks, major projects and bespoke contracts. The role is hybrid with some home working, site working and working from the East Midlands or High Wycombe office.RequirementsFor this role it is essential that you carry the following qualifications as a minimum;CSCS CardProficient in Microsoft OfficeExtensive experience in Surfacing as an EstimatorIt is also desired that you hold the skills & experience below;Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial related fieldThe RoleJob Title: Surfacing EstimatorJob Type: PermanentLocation: Can be based in the High Wycombe or Leicestershire / East Midlands AreaReporting to: Commercial ManagerDutiesProduce bills of quantitiesPrepare bid documents for surfacing contractsReview and interpret contracts to make accurate decisionsDevelop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersMaintain, negotiate, communicate and guide the process of tenders and bidsEstimating pre-construction and Quantity Surveying towards the end of the projectThis is a Permanent position with a competitive Salary on offer for the successful candidate.
