This passionate, highly numerate underwriter will work closely with our finance and sales teams as well as external stakeholders, insurancebrokersand customers alike, tomaintaincredit risk controls within an existing framework and provide a unique service to our customers.nnAsaCreditUnderwritingManager,you'llbe responsible for:nnAnalyse customer risk profiles and validate automated credit scorecardsnProduce monthly risk reports and support senior credit governance forumsnManagecredit exposure, limits, and portfolio risk across customers and sectorsnLead and develop seniorunderwriters, including performance, hiring, and KPIsnSupport board approvals and seniordecisionmaking within agreed authority levelsnOversee trade credit insurance, budgets, and process improvementsnManage andmonitorthe Deputy Credit Risk Manager performance, manage KPI's during a performance management process through having challenging conversationsnStreamliningprocesseswhere needednPartner closely with senior stakeholders across the business to align credit strategynParticipating in credit review meetings with the senior leadership team, displaying understanding of customers who have gone into administrations, high exposure risks, industryupdatesand credit assessment SLA overviews.nnWe'd love you to havennStrong risk assessment and analytical skillsnProven leadership andteam management experiencenSolid knowledge of underwriting regulations and compliancenCommercial and financial awarenessnConfident decisionmaking and stakeholder communicationnStrong knowledge across different areas of the business to ensure organisational goals are met.nDemonstrate the ability to think around a subject, considering risk implications of our current policies and procedures.nExperience supporting thegrowth and developmentofteammembers.nnnWe also acknowledgethattheconfidencegap and imposter syndrome are a real thing andcanget in thewayof us meeting fantastic talent, so please don't hesitate to apply we would love to hear from you!nnWork in a way that works for younWe recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
