IT Technician

IT Technician Location: Staplehurst, Kent Salary: 26,000 - 28,000 Hours: 40 per week Are you the person everyone turns to when their tech stops working? This is a great opportunity to join a well-established organisation near Staplehurst, providing day-to-day IT support across a busy site. Youll be part of a small, friendly team responsible for keeping systems running smoothly and users fully supported. The Role Respond to support requests for hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Set up new users, install and configure IT equipment and software. Monitor systems and perform routine maintenance checks. Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, and network-related problems. Log incidents and escalate more complex issues when required. Deliver a proactive, helpful service to users across the organisation. What You Will Need Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and Active Directory. Basic networking experience (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, LAN/WAN). Hands-on hardware troubleshooting skills. A friendly, solutions-focused approach to support. Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. It would also be helpful if you have: Around one year of experience in IT Support (business, education, or public-sector setting). Awareness of data security, confidentiality, and safeguarding. GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C or above). Benefits 22 days annual leave (taken outside core operational periods).
