Business Development Manager Location: Mansfield (Office-based / Hybrid) Hours: 8am4pm or 9am5pm (flexible) This is a fantastic opportunity to join a long-standing, friendly, and supportive safety services business as they continue to grow their telesales and customer relationship team. Existing data provided: No cold searching, youll be working from a complete database of schools across the UK, plus existing data. Fair commission structure: Earn monthly commission on everything you book, plus 10% over a set threshold. What the role involves This role is a mix of telesales, customer care, and relationship building, perfect for someone who enjoys a busy day and speaking to lots of people. You will: Contact schools across the UK using provided data to build relationships with decision-makers (Facilities Managers, Caretakers, Office Managers, etc.). Reconnect with customers who have had work done and follow up on what else they may need quotes for. Gather information and update records, accuracy and detail are important. Book in PAT testing and other services, and ensure confirmations are received. Maintain regular contact with customers to encourage repeat bookings and long-term relationships. Work closely with the engineers and internal teams to ensure smooth scheduling. What were looking for Someone confident on the phone, ideally with sales experience. A friendly communicator who enjoys adding a personal touch to conversations rather than scripted selling. Someone used to high-volume calling. A positive attitude, especially in a repetitive or structured environment. Strong organisational skills and accuracy when gathering data. A team player who wants to grow with the business. What youll get Commission paid on all bookings and 10% over a threshold. Supportive team environment with leaders who value your input. Flexible working hours (84 or 95). 20 days holiday + bank holidays (currently under review). Ongoing development as the department continues to grow.
