The Best Connection are currently recruiting for a skilled Wood CNC Machinist to join a reputable shopfitting company based in Mansfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with a background in bespoke joinery and CNC programming to work on high-end, custom projects to start as soon as possible! Job Overview Position: CNC Machinist (Wood) Location: Mansfield Pay: 16.00 per hour Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hours Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm (flexibility required to work overtime until 5:00pm when needed) Start Date: Immediate Breaks: 2x Paid 1x Unpaid Key Responsibilities Operate CNC machinery for wood-based shopfitting components Program using AlphaCAM or similar CAD/CAM software Produce bespoke and 3D joinery items to specification Maintain high standards of accuracy and finish Perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and manual handling Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines Requirements Previous experience in shopfitting or bespoke joinery Proficiency in AlphaCAM or similar CNC programming software Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Comfortable with physical work and heavy lifting Flexible to work overtime when required Strong attention to detail and quality Willingness to learn - training provided Benefits Competitive hourly rate Paid overtime Paid breaks Training and development opportunities Supportive team environment You will be required to have a telephone and face to face interview with the team before having an interview on site!
