Their UK operation is expanding fast, and the Manchester office is home to a close-knit, supportive team that works collaboratively with colleagues across Europe. With strong investment, a premium product range, and an international customer base, this is an exciting time to join their growing internal sales function.The RoleAs Senior Account Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind customer retention, growth and service excellence. Working closely with regional field managers, you’ll nurture long-term relationships, manage key accounts, respond proactively to enquiries, and play a pivotal role in securing repeat business. This is an engaging, varied role where no two days are the same, and you’ll have genuine scope to influence customers across the UK market.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional proactive customer service to an established client baseBuild strong long-term relationships with customers, understanding both commercial and technical needsQualify incoming enquiries and prepare competitive pricingFollow up on samples and quotations to successfully close businessManage orders, forecasts, contracts and general account housekeepingMaintain a high response rate (within 24 hours)Work closely with field-based ADMs on daily activity, appointment setting and account strategySupport low-spend and fluctuating accounts to drive growth and retentionParticipate in sales meetings, customer video calls and occasional joint visitsProvide technical/commercial advice with confidenceUndertake wider duties to support the success of the sales teamPerson SpecificationMinimum 2 years’ experience in a similar account management or internal sales roleStrong communication skills and an engaging, customer-focused styleExcellent listening ability and a solutions-oriented approachConfident decision-maker with the ability to close businessTarget-driven with great time management and organisational skillsPositive, energetic attitude and a willingness to learnAbility to work autonomously and collaborativelyWillingness to travel internationally for training and customer visitsPride in your role with strong attention to detailBenefits25 days holiday, increasing by 1 day per year up to 30Death in service: 3x annual salaryPrivate medical insurance BUPA Cashplan 24/7 GP access Gymflex contribution Pension: business matched up to 10%Personal travel insuranceRegular social eventsEmployee Assistance Programme (counselling, finances, legal advice & more)Private pension adviser consultationsPension salary exchange schemeReady to take the next step in your career?Apply now and become a key part of a growing UK team within a globally respected manufacturer.
