Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of infrastructure projects, they are seeking an experienced HV SAP to join their team in the North West.The Role:Act as the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) responsible for HV switchgear operations and safety on live sitesManage site authorisations, switching activities, and safety procedures in line with DNO and company standardsSupervise HV isolations, testing, and commissioning tasksLiaise with DNOs, site teams, and clients to ensure project safety and complianceLead safety briefings, risk assessments, and ensure adherence to relevant legislationMaintain accurate documentation including switching schedules and test reportsSupport project delivery teams during installation and maintenance phasesThe Candidate:Proven experience as an HV SAP or similar role in the utilities, construction, or engineering sectorsFull DNO authorisation (preferably ENWL, NPG, SPEN, or other Midlands-based networks)Strong knowledge of HV safety rules, isolation procedures, and operational standardsExcellent communication, leadership, and organisational skillsCapable of managing multiple stakeholders and projects concurrentlyFull UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Midlands regionThe Benefits:Salary between 75,000 and 90,000Company vehicle, tools, and fuel card provided25 Days Holiday plus Bank HolidaysAnnual performance-based bonusCompany pension schemeClear progression pathway and long-term development opportunitiesThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HV SAP to join a well-established and growing organisation delivering high-impact power projects across the North West.
