We’re seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Consultant to join a nationally acclaimed HR Services team that provides strategic and practical HR consultancy to schools and academies. This a permanent role, based in Manchester, with two days office presence required, either at HQ or travelling to schools in the local area.This is a client-facing role in a professional services environment, supporting leadership teams across the education sector to deliver compliant, student-focused solutions.Responsibilities: Provide pragmatic advice across complex employee relations and wider HR mattersBuild trusted relationships with clients and act as a strategic partnerLead investigations, casework, and HR projects from start to finishDevelop and deliver training, draft policies, and produce advisory contentContribute to growth through business development and client retentionYou'll bring: Solid employment law knowledge and HR best practice expertiseExperience managing contentious casework; education sector knowledge desirableStrong communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skillsExperience negotiating with trade unions is an advantageProactive mindset with high attention to detail and accountabilityCollaborative approach with a drive for innovation and quality This is an opportunity to make a lasting impact in the education sector through thoughtful consultancy and client support.```
