Clinical Pharmacist - working from home

Medacy is looking to recruit clinical pharmacists to support practices whilst working from home. The work needs to be delivered during clinic hours, i.e. 8 am to 7 pm, Monday to Friday.This is a permanent opportunity, and we are not looking to engage on a locum basis.We have opportunities in SystmOne and Emis practices.The role will involve playing a full and active role as part of the practice's multidisciplinary team.The ideal candidate for the role will have:Independent Prescriber StatusCompleted the Primary Care Pharmacy Education Pathway (PCPEP)Previous GP Practice experienceAt least three years of post-graduate experienceExcellent Clinical knowledgeThe commitment to continue learning and developing.The confidence to work as part of a busy GP practiceThe ability to adapt to convey information to patients and fellow healthcare professionals.The minimum requirement is 15 hours per week.The successful candidate will join The Medacy Practice, a unique support network that allows pharmacists to develop, thrive, and realise their full potential.Join Medacy, the future of pharmacist practice.Responsibilities and DutiesComplete medication reviewsProcess specialist treatment lettersCare home supportSupport practice dispensaryProcess hospital discharge lettersServe as the primary point of contact in practice for all medication-related inquiries.Qualifications and SkillsThe ability to adapt your style to convey information to fellow healthcare professionals and the most challenging patientsRegistered with the General Pharmaceutical CouncilHold Personal Professional Indemnity InsuranceBe able to demonstrate commitment to CPDClinical Diploma is beneficial but not essentialIndependent Prescriber essentialBenefitsExcellent SalaryThe opportunity to grow and developThe opportunity to join The Medacy PracticePension SchemeJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: £53,000 per year
