Housing Disrepair Solicitor / Fee EarnerOffices in both Manchester and Liverpool – Hybrid working available (Fully onsite to begin with then after probation you can work 50/50 onsite/remote working)Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 plus bonus (dependent on experience)Hours: Flexible start and finish timesThe OpportunityA leading law firm with a strong reputation in housing litigation is looking to expand its team with experienced Solicitors and Fee Earners. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportiveenvironment where professional development and work life balance are genuinely valued.What You Can ExpectCompetitive salary £30,000 to £40,000 plus bonusHybrid home and office working25 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday offPension scheme with 6% employer contributionAnnual salary reviewCasual dress policySubsidised gym membershipCompany sick pay and death in service benefit (4x salary)Training, support and clear opportunities for progressionAccess to a market leading Employee Assistance ProgrammeThe RoleYou will be responsible for managing a caseload of housing disrepair matters from start to finish.The work will involve both pre-litigated and litigated claims, brought under Sections 9a and 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985.Your duties will include:Running a caseload of housing disrepair claims from inception to conclusionDrafting Letters of Claim and issuing court proceedings where requiredReviewing housing records, surveyor reports and other evidenceCollating special damages and preparing schedulesNegotiating settlements and attending mediationsLiaising with counsel and other stakeholdersMaintaining accurate records using Proclaim case management systemProviding excellent service and communication to clientsAbout YouApplications are welcomed from Solicitors, Fee Earners or experienced Litigators with relevant housing disrepair or civil litigation experience.Essential requirements include:Experience in housing disrepair or at least 10 years civil litigation experienceAbility to bill at Grade B or aboveStrong organisational skills and ability to manage a busy caseloadPrevious use of case management systems (Proclaim experience preferred)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsConfidence in handling your own litigation and negotiationsHow to ApplyIf you are looking to join a progressive law firm where your contribution will be recognised and rewarded, please apply with your most recent CV.You must be authorised to work in the UK.Key words: Fee Earner, Housing Disrepair Solicitor, Housing Disrepair Fee Earner, Civil Litigation Solicitor, Civil Litigation Fee Earner, Litigation Executive, Housing Solicitor, Disrepair Lawyer, Housing Conditions Solicitor / Fee Earner, Claimant Litigation Solicitor
