Senior / Associate Quantity Surveyor

Propsource Consulting are working with a well-known worldwide multi-disciplinary consultancy who are currently seeking a Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor to join the team in their Manchester or Leeds office.Working closely alongside directors and other team members, you will be providing professional advice to clients across a range of multi-discipline commercial projects.As a Quantity Surveyor you will lead on the following:Managing tasks and deliverables alongside the client and wider project teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of the projectsAdministering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectivesProviding accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in line with budgetPro-actively monitoring and managing cost variance and contract cash flow and ensuring that applications are made correctly and in a timely mannerCollaborating with teams to manage the delivery of project deliverables, KPI's and objectives including programme performance, cost control and value engineeringEnsuring all final accounts are negotiated and agreedEnsuring projects comply with applicable statutory and regulatory legislationRisk managementEnsuring projects are delivered to agreed quality standards ensuring high levels of satisfactionIdeal CandidateBachelors degree or equivalentMRICS desired but not essentialPrevious consultancy Quantity Surveying experienceDemonstrated ability to deliver a completed projectCan come from a Project Management or Quantity Surveying backgroundStrong leadership and commercial skillsBenefitsCompetitive base salary and holiday allowanceCar allowanceDiscretionary bonusCareer progressionUp to 8% matched pension contributionHybrid role offering 2/3 days per week working from homeCommitment to personal and learning developmentPrivate medical careA great social environment with regular team and office events throughout the yearIf you believe you have the skills and experience, and want to join a thriving and ambitious place to work I’d like to hear from you!
