The role is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) programmes across all our global operations and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.This is a varied and dynamic role which will influence and drive strategic EHS initiatives, foster a culture of safety and environmental management, and promote practices that support performance improvement, all aligned with our corporate values and objectives.Key TasksEHS compliance: Manage the company EHS framework compliance programme, supporting global locations with continuous improvement in line with agreed objective and targetsSupport EHS regulatory compliance across the four international regions. Research and support compliance improvements to support ongoing compliance best practiceLead the Group ISO14001 program and proactively update policies to maintain best practices and drive continuous improvementPolicy and Process Development: Lead the creation and continuous improvement of Global Health, Safety and Environmental policies and standardsSupport the development of best practices and establish ‘OneTR’ working practices across the organisationDrive continual improvement in EHS standards and performanceRisk Management, Audit, and Inspections: Establish global processes for risk management, including risk assessmentOversee EHS audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectivelyDevelop a global programme for safety inspection and statutory complianceIncident Investigation and Reporting: Support the business in establishing strong standards of incident investigationAct a subject matter expert for incident investigation providing clear, timely analysis, and recommendationsOwn the incident, proactive observation data, and KPI management and analysisContribute to the development of the monthly EHS Board reportCommunication and Training: Develop an engaging communication strategy that is relevant to a global teamDesign and deliver training programs, toolbox talks, and culturally relevant communications that relate to teams cross all global locationsBehavioural safetySupport the creation of the organisation’s behavioural safety programmeChampion behavioural safety across the organisationGlobal Environmental and Sustainability Initiatives: Promoting environmental stewardship and sustainability as key business prioritiesInspire global teams to embed strong environmental management and support sustainability initiativesThe CandidateWe are seeking a forward thinking individual with:5+ years of EHS experienceKnowledge of HSE legislation and standardsExpertise with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standardsSkilled in risk management, incident investigation, and safety system implementationExceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skillsWillingness to travel nationally and internationally to support global teamsKnowledge of International safety legislation and standardsWorking across time zones around the world.Experience with environmental sustainability Initiatives
