EC&I PDMS Designer

EC&I PDMS Designer12 month contract Birchwood – Hybrid40 hours As an EC&I PDMS Designer you will be responsible for:Design of installable CE&I cable route infrastructure / plant layouts that can be safely installed and subsequently populated with cables.Producing and understanding a range of electrical deliverables such as control schematics, single line diagrams, cable block diagrams, cable schedules, lighting and small power circuits, earthing schemes etc..Input into instrument hook-ups and loop diagramsEnsuring all relevant standards, instructions and specifications are applied.Interfacing with other disciplines to ensure optimised design.Checking of other designers’ deliverablesAs an EC&I PDMS Designer you will already be:An experienced PDMS user, particularly in CE&I aspects including the production of automated drawings from the 3D model.Have experience of CE&I design working within a highly regulated industry.Be fully conversant with UK Statutory Regulations and industry guides and standardsPDMS, Navisworks Freedom Viewer, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office suite of programmes.CAESAR/Aveva experienceCompany InformationAt First Recruitment Group we understand just how important it is to secure the right people.
