Fashion Designers – Menswear & WomenswearAre you a trend-led designer who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment?Do you enjoy working across diverse categories with the freedom to respond to trends in real time?Can you balance creativity with commerciality to design products that land with impact?MacGregor Black is currently working with a global fashion group on the search for multiple Fashion Designers across menswear and womenswear, based in Manchester.These are hands-on, fast-moving roles designing full collections with clear brand identity and strong consumer relevance.Key Responsibilities:Design commercial, trend-led collections across either menswear (streetwear, smart casual, activewear) or womenswear (partywear, smart casual, trend-led)Create detailed CADs, tech packs, and design specs to hand over to developmentWork closely with buying, merchandising, and production to ensure alignment across fit, margin, and timingReact quickly to fast-moving trends, creating capsule drops and repeatable bestsellersConduct ongoing trend research, competitor analysis, and seasonal forecastingPresent collections internally with clear rationale across look, feel, and functionManage multiple briefs simultaneously under tight timelines and deliverablesContribute to brand identity and visual consistency across collectionsWhat We’re Looking For:2–8+ years of fashion design experience in fast fashion, e-commerce, or high street environmentsStrong CAD and Adobe Illustrator skills, with experience creating full tech packsKnowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and fit processesStrong sense of trend forecasting and commercial stylingHighly organised, with the ability to deliver against multiple deadlinesComfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environmentA portfolio that shows both creative flair and commercial awarenessPlease contact Tom Honeyman for more details today.
