Seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Stock Controller to manage procurement and inventory operations. This hands-on role is essential to the efficiency of our supply chain and production teams. You'll work closely with production staff, suppliers, and engineering teams to ensure materials are available, on time and up to spec.This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces new technology, and is passionate about stock management.Stock Controller Key ResponsibilitiesLiaise with internal departments regarding quoted items and procurement needsPlace purchase orders and ensure on-time in-full (OTIF) deliveries from suppliersConduct goods-in inspections to verify accuracy and quality of deliveriesPerform regular stock checks and maintain inventory accuracyGenerate and investigate stock loss reports; implement corrective actionsManage returns or replacements for faulty itemsMaintain inventory records using Wasp Inventory Stock Control SoftwareKeep procurement and supplier documentation organised and up to dateCollaborate with engineering and production to ensure timely material availabilityAssist with stock store and workshop housekeepingStock Controller SkillsPrevious experience in a stock control, procurement, or stores roleStrong organisational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and negotiation abilitiesHigh attention to detail and inventory accuracyTeam player with a collaborative mindsetEffective problem-solving skills for resolving stock or order discrepanciesStock Controller BenefitsYearly performance bonusCompany pension schemeFree on-site parkingHealth & wellbeing programmeCompany eventsOvertime opportunities at enhanced rates30 days holiday (including Bank Holidays and Christmas closedown) BBBH33979
