We are hyper-connected, highly regarded, and trusted industry experts who cover every blade of grass throughout our work, leaving it all out there!Come and join the team!Who WeAre Looking to Hire:WeAreNinety is seeking a top class operator, a driven and experienced Account Manager to lead key client relationships, ensure the successful delivery of high-impact sports marketing campaigns, and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, great communicator, passionate about sports and thrive in a start-up sports marketing business. You will be responsible for maintaining strong client relationships, delivering against KPIs, and collaborating with internal teams & partners to ensure we consistently exceed expectations. The dream candidate will have experience working in sports marketing either for a rights holder, brand or agency! You will be joining WeAreNinety at an exciting period of growth and will have the opportunity to play a leading role in shaping our future!Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients, acting as a trusted advisor and ensuring satisfaction with all agency servicesDevelop and maintain long-term client relationships through effective communication, understanding of their business needs, and proactive supportLead strategic client meetings, quarterly business reviews, and post-campaign analysisStrategic Leadership:Work with clients to develop sports marketing strategies that align with their business objectives, delivering creative solutions that drive brand awareness, engagement, and ROICollaborate with creative, digital, content and partnership partners to ensure that all campaigns are aligned with client goals, timelines, and budgetsIdentify new opportunities to expand services or introduce innovative approaches that support client growth and business objectivesProject Management & Delivery:Oversee the delivery of campaigns from conception to execution, ensuring all projects are on track, within budget, and meet or exceed performance targetsWork with internal teams to manage day-to-day account activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control of deliverablesTroubleshoot any issues that arise during the campaign execution, providing swift solutions and managing client expectationsBusiness Development:Identify and pursue opportunities to grow accounts by proposing additional services, upselling, or cross-selling within existing relationshipsPlay an active role in new business pitches, contributing to proposal development, presenting to potential clients, and supporting business growth initiativesTeam Leadership:Mentor and manage Account Executive, ensuring professional development and strong performanceFoster a collaborative environment within the teamBuild a fun, enjoyable and high-performing work cultureQualifications & Experience:Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sports marketing, with a focus on partnerships, athletes and brand integration - ideally within a sports marketing agency, advertising agency, or brand managementExperience: PR, Communications and Activation experience, alongside proven experience in leading client accountsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business, or a related fieldIndustry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the sports landscape, including sponsorship, athlete marketing, content creation, and fan engagementProject Management: Proven track record of leading and delivering large-scale marketing campaigns on time and within budgetClient Management: Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain high-level relationshipsStrategic Thinking: Ability to develop and present strategic solutions that drive measurable business outcomes for clientsLeadership: Experience managing and mentoring teams, with the ability to inspire and drive performanceCommunication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present confidently to clients and stakeholdersBusiness Development: Experience in identifying and securing new opportunities for account & business growthBeneficial experience for a candidate: Experience: working on client/brand campaigns in Women's FootballKey Skills:Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of KPIs and business metrics.Ability to juggle multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.A passion for sports and an in-depth understanding of sports marketing trends.High-level attention to detail and organizational skills.Creative problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to challenges.Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentA natural role model, leader & relationship builderBenefits:Competitive salary and flexible workingNew business bonus Paid holidayHands-on experience working in start-up sports marketing business with exposure to diverse projectsOpportunities to work with high profile sports brands, rights holders and athletesNetworking opportunities within the sports industryMentorship from experienced professionals in the fieldPotential for accelerated career advancement within the businessHow to Apply:Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter, and any relevant work samples.WeAreNinety is an equal-opportunity employer.
