The successful candidate will act predominantly for insurer clients, handling a broad range of suspected and proven fraud claims.This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop specialist expertise in insurance fraud within a supportive and technically strong environment, working closely with insurers, counsel, and other professionals in the fraud sector.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging a caseload of insurance fraud matters on behalf of insurer clientsHandling fraudulent personal injury, property damage, credit hire, and related insurance claimsAdvising insurers on liability, quantum, fraud strategy, and prospects of successInvestigating suspected fraudulent claims, including reviewing evidence, surveillance, and expert reportsDrafting statements of case, applications, witness statements, and other court documentationConducting litigated matters through the County Court and, where appropriate, the High CourtInstructing and liaising with counsel, experts, and external investigatorsEngaging in negotiations, settlement discussions, and alternative dispute resolutionEnsuring compliance with procedural rules, regulatory requirements, and client service standardsCandidate RequirementsQualified solicitor in England & Wales (NQ - 3 years' PQE)Experience handling insurance fraud claims is desirable, but applications are welcomed from newly qualified solicitors with relevant insurance or litigation experienceStrong litigation experience, including drafting and procedural knowledgeAbility to analyse complex evidence and identify indicators of fraudCommercially aware, with an understanding of insurer priorities and outcomesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage competing deadlines and work effectively as part of a teamWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary of 40,000 - 50,000, depending on experienceHigh-quality, insurer-focused fraud workClear opportunities for career progression and professional developmentHybrid working and a collaborative team cultureExposure to complex and high-value fraud litigationThis role would suit a solicitor with a genuine interest in insurance fraud who is looking to build a long-term career within this specialist area.ApplicationsIf you feel that you have the relevant experience to be successful in this position and would like to find out more please apply online today attaching a copy of your current CV.
