Job Opportunity: Care Manager Location: Manchester (M8) Employment Type: Full-Time | Permanent Salary: 37,000 per annum Performance Bonus Sector: Domiciliary / Homecare Services About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Manager to lead the delivery of high-quality domiciliary care services across the Manchester area. The successful candidate will ensure that all customers receive safe, person-centred, and compassionate care that promotes dignity, independence, and an excellent quality of life. Reporting to the senior management team, the Care Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the service, providing strong leadership to staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Manage the daily operations of the homecare service to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality care delivery. Promote the rights and independence of each customer, ensuring their needs and preferences are central to their care plans. Conduct full assessments of care and associated risks prior to the start of service delivery. Develop and maintain personalised care and support plans in collaboration with customers and their representatives. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, legislation, and internal quality standards. Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise care staff to maintain a professional, skilled, and motivated workforce. Lead on safeguarding, infection control, and health 'safety compliance. Handle complaints and incidents professionally, using outcomes to implement service improvements. Represent the organisation positively at external meetings and contribute to business development objectives. Maintain a minimum Good CQC rating across all service areas, while striving for Outstanding. Requirements Proven experience as a Care Manager , Deputy Manager , or similar leadership role within domiciliary or homecare services. Excellent understanding of CQC standards and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or working towards). Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred.
