Intermediate Scaffolding Estimator

Job DescriptionWe are working with a well-established and reputable scaffolding specialist contractor based in Manchester, who are currently looking to add an Intermediate Estimator to their commercial team.This is an excellent opportunity for a scaffolding professional with strong estimating experience and familiarity with Smart Scaffolder to join a business that works on a wide variety of commercial and industrial projects across the North West.Key Responsibilities:Prepare accurate and competitive scaffolding estimates and tender submissions.Interpret drawings, specifications and scope documents to assess pricing and resourcing.Carry out site visits and assessments when required to inform pricing and method.Utilise Smart Scaffolder software to produce 3D visualisations, material lists, and accurate quotations.Liaise closely with contracts managers, clients, and commercial team to ensure a joined-up approach to winning and delivering work.Monitor costings against project budgets and contribute to value engineering where applicable.Requirements:3+ years of estimating experience within the scaffolding sector.Proficiency in Smart Scaffolder is essential.Strong understanding of scaffolding methods, systems, and materials.Excellent communication and commercial awareness.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tenders and [email protected]:Competitive salary based on experience.Career development opportunities within a growing commercial team.Exposure to a broad range of project types and values.Supportive team culture and modern estimating tools.
