With a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for reliability, quality, and client satisfaction, they are expanding the commercial team to meet growing demand.OverviewOur client are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial aspects of residential construction projects, from initial estimates through to final account. You will play a key role in ensuring commercial success across a variety of schemes.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare cost plans, estimates, and tender submissionsManage subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and paymentsMonitor project budgets, forecasts, and cash flowConduct site visits to assess progress and variationsPrepare and manage interim valuations and final accountsWork closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure cost efficiencyEnsure all contractual and commercial obligations are metIdentify and mitigate commercial risksRequirementsMinimum 35 years of Quantity Surveying experience in residential constructionExperience working with both private and social housing clientsStrong knowledge of JCT contracts and general contract administrationCommercially astute with excellent negotiation skillsGood understanding of building regulations and construction methodsStrong IT skills, particularly in Excel and quantity surveying softwareDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent (preferred)Full UK driving licence (if applicable)On OfferCompetitive salary and discretionary performance bonusCompany vehicle or car allowancePension scheme and holiday entitlementSupportive working environment with career development opportunitiesInvolvement in varied and meaningful residential projectsJBRP1_UKTJ
