They're looking for a Lead IT System Administrator to take ownership of their UK IT environment and help them scale. This is a hands-on leadership role where youll manage one system administrator initially, with plans to grow the team.Youll work closely with platform engineering and DevOps teams, driving automation, improving processes.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage IT system administration for UK operations.Oversee initial IT setups, SaaS systems, and incident management processes.Drive automation of manual processes and implement best practices.Collaborate with engineering teams on cloud and platform projects (Atlassian, Rovo AI).Provide stakeholder management, take full ownership, and proactively identify improvements.Mentor and guide team members as the function scales.Tech Stack & SkillsCore: Python, PowerShell, M365, Salesforce.Cloud/Platform: Atlassian suite, SaaS systems.Desirable: ServiceNow, familiarity with SDLC.Strong understanding of incident management and regulated environments (nice to have).Genuine interest in technology (e.g., homelab projects).
