Employment Solicitor - Manchester£65,000 - £95,000 DOEOculus are currently working with an exceptional firm that have recently established themselves in the Manchester market, with their team headed up by a Partner named in the UK Hot 100 lawyers of 2024. Compared to their FTE billable hours of 1200pa, their salary package is very strong.The role would entail advising on a full range of Employment services including:General Employment – Day to day queries e.g. disciplinaries and grievances, contracts and policies, flexible working, maternity rights, discrimination and support on larger projects such as restructures and redundanciesEmployment Litigation – Defending Employment Tribunal claims made against employers (e.g. unfair dismissal discrimination, whistleblowing, equal pay), bringing high value Employment Tribunal claims on behalf of individuals and supporting with dispute resolution through mediation/ arbitrationTransactional Support – Supporting on the employment aspects (including due diligence and TUPE) of M&A, divestments and outsourcingsWhat makes this role stand out is the strong focus on work-life balance, plus benefits like private medical insurance, generous annual leave and many more.If this position piques your interest, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
