Job Description HGV Technician Temp - PermLocation: Trafford Manchester, M23Hours: 40 hours per weekWe are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a skilled HGV Technician to join our clients busy Trafford depot on a 3 month temp to perm basis.Working in a modern, well-equipped 6-bay workshop, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing a fleet of 150 waste vehicles that support essential environmental services across the community.The RoleUse advanced diagnostic tools to identify faults and carry out effective repairsDismantle, overhaul and repair vehicle componentsMaintain HGVs and plant equipment to ensure operational efficiencyComplete job cards, inspections and documentation via tablets and PDAsCarry out road tests and assist with roadside breakdownsEnsure compliance with health & safety proceduresUndertake ad-hoc driving duties (e.g. MOT appointments)About YouCity & Guilds, IRTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & RepairCategory C HGV Licence and Driver CPCMunicipal or waste fleet experience desirableAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication skillsSpecialist tools and diagnostic equipment are provided.If youre looking for a stable, well-equipped workshop environment with overtime opportunities and the chance to make a real impact, wed love to hear from you.JBRP1_UKTJ
