CNC Setter Operator

CNC Operator / Setter We are currently looking for a CNC Operator / Setter to join a busy manufacturing environment. This role involves setting and operating CNC machinery while maintaining high standards of quality, productivity, and health 'safety. Training will be provided where required. The Role: You will be responsible for setting and operating CNC machines, ensuring efficient production and consistent output to specification. Machines on site: AXYZ 3-Axis Flat Bed One operator running both machines Key Responsibilities: Set and operate CNC machines in line with production requirements Run and manage two machines independently Monitor machine performance and make basic adjustments as required Carry out quality checks to ensure parts meet specification Complete pre-start checks and routine inspections Accurately record production data, materials, and tooling used Identify and report faults, defects, scrap, or breakdowns promptly Work to health 'safety and quality standards at all times Maintain good housekeeping standards Support colleagues and liaise with other departments when required Skills & Experience: Previous CNC Operator / Setter experience preferred Experience with AXYZ machines and 3-axis flat bed CNC advantageous Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively Strong attention to detail in a production environment Working Hours: 48 hours per week (paid breaks) Shift options available: Monday to Thursday: 06:00 18:00 Monday to Thursday: 06:00 16:00, Friday: 06:00 14:00 Benefits: Life Assurance Plan Pension Scheme Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) BrightHR employee discounts TPBN1_UKTJ
