A well-established Manchester-based shopfitting company is looking for a Fit-Out Estimator to join the team. Fit-Out Estimator Manchester, M30 0RG Full time, permanent 40,000 - 60,000 per annum Please Note: Applicants must be authorised to work in the UK Our client is a leading interior fit-out contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality retail, hospitality, and commercial spaces across the UK. Their hands-on approach and attention to detail ensure every project is completed to the highest standard - efficiently, safely, and to specification. The Role As a Fit-Out Estimator , you'll play a key role in assessing project needs, estimating costs, and preparing competitive bids for various interior fit-out projects. Key Responsibilities: Analysing technical drawings to understand project scope and requirements Preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions. Producing clear and organised cost breakdowns for internal review and client presentation. Managing supplier and subcontractor enquiries, quotations, and negotiations to achieve best value. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with subcontractors and supply chain partners. Assisting in project budgeting and cost monitoring to ensure financial targets are met. Working closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to support smooth project delivery. Ensuring all estimating data, documentation, and records are maintained accurately within company systems. Contributing to the continuous improvement of pricing databases, procurement processes, and estimating practices. About you: Proven experience in estimating fit-out projects Knowledge of interior fit-out processes and materials Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contractual documents accurately. Strong negotiation skills with subcontractors and suppliers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with clients and internal teams Excellent numeracy, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.
