We have big plans, including expansion into Europe and licensing as an Electronic Money Institution.About the RoleWe are seeking a solicitor, with 3-4 years PQE, to support the business and its Legal Director with our ambitious plans for 2025 and beyond. The business is growing quickly and therefore the successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress and develop quickly.ResponsibilitiesSupport the Legal Director in all the day-to-day legal requirements of the businessSupport and advise the Commercial Director regarding commercial arrangements with customers, suppliers, referrers and other partnersSupport the Financial Crime Director with managing fraud and money laundering riskAct as a main point of contact with our banking as a service providersSupport and manage the businesss Data Protection and Complaints ManagersAdvise the business on IP, general business risk and occasional litigation mattersQualificationsThe successful candidate will have a commercial background, either in private practice or in-house, and ideally in Fintech. The ideal candidate will probably have 3-4 years PQE and excellent technical, organisational, commercial and communication skills, along with a willingness to throw themself into a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment.Pay range and compensation package65,000 to 70,000 per year, dependant on experience. 30 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Full-time, permanent.
