Job Description Flood Risk ConsultantLocation: Manchester Salary: 32,000 - 40,000 About the OpportunityDue to continued growth and increasing client demand, we are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Flood Risk Consultant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking business with strong long-term growth plans.In this role, you will prepare Flood Risk Assessments and develop conceptual drainage strategies to support planning applications. You will also have the chance to lead small-scale projects and work closely with our geo-environmental team on multi-disciplinary developments.We are seeking motivated individuals who enjoy a challenge, want to contribute to a growing team and are keen to progress their careers.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce Flood Risk Assessments for planning submissions.Develop SuDS strategies and drainage solutions.Coordinate with sub-consultants (e.g., topographical or CCTV survey providers).Liaise directly with clients, regulatory bodies, and internal team members.Manage small to medium-scale projects.Contribute to geo-environmental investigation reports.RequirementsDegree in Geography, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.2+ years' experience in a UK consultancy preparing Flood Risk Assessments and drainage strategies.
