Job Title:Data Subject Request Administrator Locations:Manchester or Tunbridge Wells (hybrid working) Role Overview: Reporting into the Customer Relations department, the Data Subject Request Administrator will coordinate, track, and complete all Subject Access and other rights requests in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with Data Protection regulations. The role also involves providing MI to assist with root cause analysis of issues. Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end process of Data Subject Requests from policyholders, ensuring responses align with ICO guidelines and extending responses if necessary. Log all requests and produce correspondence for subject access and rights requests in line with GDPR regulations. Maintain accurate records of communications with customers and colleagues. Coordinate with relevant business areas promptly upon receipt of Data Subject Requests to facilitate timely responses. Keep the Data Subject Tracker updated and provide weekly reports to the Team Manager. Proactively escalate issues and provide feedback to management when appropriate. Take full responsibility for each request, processing within regulated timelines. Handle complex requests, applying appropriate redactions/exemptions as per Data Protection Act and GDPR. Manage 'Right to be Forgotten' and 'Right to Erasure' cases according to company retention policies. Prioritize tasks across multiple requests, making informed decisions on redactions. Stay informed about GDPR and related legislation. Develop and maintain good relationships with key contacts within the business. Ensure SharePoint is audited, and duplicate or unnecessary data is deleted. Monitor mailboxes to ensure timely responses to customers and colleagues. Respond to customer inquiries via email with clear, jargon-free communication, providing first-class service. Review colleagues' work, offering constructive feedback and redactions as needed. Send Data Subject Requests securely via email or post, ensuring accurate data transfer and logging completion. Skills: Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude. Effective communication skills at all levels. Strong organizational and time management abilities. High attention to detail. Methodical with strong administrative skills. In-depth knowledge of DPA/GDPR regulations. Insurance and claims handling experience is desirable.#J-18808-Ljbffr
