Job DescriptionAvro Football Club is a dynamic and growing organisation committed to developing young talent and fostering a love for the beautiful game. We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our team in a crucial role for the upcoming 2025/2026 season.We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Club Secretary with experience in Football Administration at the Grassroots level to support our clubs operations or someone looking to get involved within a football club, in this capacity. This voluntary position plays a vital role in the smooth running of our junior teams and contributes significantly to the development of young players.Key Responsibilities:Manage administrative tasks related to Club operationsCoordinate with coaches, players, and parents to ensure effective communicationMaintain accurate records of player registrations, match reports, and other relevant documentationAssist in organising fixtures, tournaments, and training sessionsLiaise with local football associations and leagues as requiredSupport the Head of Football Administration in various administrative dutiesReporting Structure:The Assistant Club Secretary will report directly to the Head of Football Administration.Qualifications and Skills:Experience in Football Administration at the Grassroots level or higher (desirable)Excellent organisational and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database managementStrong attention to detail and ability to multitaskPassion for football and youth developmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamTime Commitment:This is a voluntary position with flexible hours.
