Job Description Sports Content Lead (Social Media)Manchester-based | 2 days Sowerby Bridge office | 3 days WFHWere Socialtrend, a social media agency working across sports, gaming and entertainment.Were launching and scaling a UK focused sports media account across X, Instagram and TikTok, and are looking for someone to take ownership of the day to day content and growth.This is a hands on role focused on running a high volume, fast paced social media account. The account is already established with branding and direction in place, your role is to execute, grow and scale it.What youll be doingRunning a large UK focused sports media account across X, Instagram and TikTokCreating and posting content daily, including reactive content around live sporting eventsIdentifying trends, formats and moments to drive engagement and growthManaging high volume posting across platformsTesting content formats and doubling down on what performsWorking with the team to integrate influencers and original content into the accountSupporting the development of original content formats, including studio based content over timeWhat were looking forStrong interest in football and UK sport is essentialExperience running social media accounts or creating content at scaleComfortable posting high volumes of content dailyFast thinking and reactive to live events and trendsHands on with content creation (editing, posting, formatting)Understands what performs on X, Instagram and TikTokHighly motivated and comfortable working in a fast paced environmentNice to have (not essential)Experience working within sports, betting or mediaExperience growing or running your own social media pagesBasic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, etc)Location & working setup2 days per week in our Sowerby Bridge office3 days working from homeMust be able to commute reliablyThe opportunityTake ownership of a growing sports media accountBuild and scale a large audience across multiple platformsWork alongside a team experienced in viral content and social growthOpportunity to be involved in the creation of original studio based content as the account growsBe part of a business expanding into sports media and content
