Operations Coordinator

Production Planning RoleThe Production Planning Team plays a vital role in driving production efficiency by coordinating schedules and optimising processes. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management, as well as experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP.Carry out planning for all areas of production to meet customer demands while maximising resource utilisation.Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure seamless operations.Collaborate with various departments, including procurement and quality control, to achieve process excellence.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste throughout the production cycle.Utilise ERP systems to track production metrics and generate reports for management review.Maintain clear communication with assembly teams to ensure alignment on production goals and deadlines.Requirements:Proven experience in a scheduling or planning role within a manufacturing environment is essential.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.Familiarity with SAP and other ERP systems is highly desirable.Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and mechanical processes is beneficial.Demonstrated ability in continuous improvement methodologies and quality control practices.Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail, enabling effective multitasking in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing for effective collaboration across teams.
