Job Description Astute's Biogas Team has been exclusively appointed to search for a Plant Manager in Wiltshire on an anaerobic digestion plant with 3MW of installed capacity. The Plant Manager role is a key role on site and we're open to people from biogas or related process industry. A technical mindset with a solutions-focussed approach is what we're after.The Plant Manager role comes with a salary around the 55,000 mark and also comes with the added company benefits.If you're a Plant Manager / Operations Manager who is looking for the next challenge in their career then please apply below and we always welcome direct calls to discuss any application.Responsibilities and duties of the Plant Manager roleReporting to the Senior Leadership Team you will:Have full ownership and accountability for the biogas site across compliance, profitability and managing all operational aspectsPromote a positive safety first cultureLiaise with and manage all regulatory and compliance bodiesDevelop and maintain great relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders, including the EA, local government personnel and internal DirectorateEnsure PAS110 complianceManage all permits and conditionsDevelop and manage the staff on site, which 2ll be two Operators and a Maintenance EngineerComplete consistent proactive process assessments and look for continuous improvements around the siteWork closely with the Maintenance Engineer to ensure the maximum amount of uptime and the best yields possibleAttend call outs if and when necessary along with the team Professional qualificationsWe are looking for someone with the following:A degree or HND/C in a relevant engineering disciplineProven experience managing and developing peopleExperience with CMMS, EA and PAS110 is hugely beneficialAnaerobic digestion experience is hugely preferred but not essential.
