Reinsurance Technician

We’re partnered with a highly reputable insurance data analytics company that provides cutting-edge solutions to insurers across the London and global markets. As part of their continued growth, they’re looking to bring on an experienced Reinsurance Technician to support their ceded operations and contribute to a number of high-profile client engagements.Responsibilities:Handling reinsurance contracts - Treaty, Facultative (FAC) set-upPerform cession calculations and validate, ceded premium and loss results from the reinsurance systemPreparing bordereaux, XOL and FAC billings to be sent to brokers/ReinsurersCollection of open recoverable, handle market queriesInvoice review, Receivable/PayablesKey Requirements:5+ years of experience working in a ceded reinsurance role, ideally within the London MarketStrong technical understanding of treaty and facultative reinsurance structuresProven ability to manage large volumes of data with accuracy and attention to detailStrong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups); knowledge of reinsurance systems/tools is a plusHybrid Working - 3 days in London per weekInitial 6-month FTC (View to go permanent) If this is of interest, please apply with an updated CV.
