This is an excellent opportunity for a knowledgeable, hardworking HGV Mechanic to join well a successful and established company, applying their skills in a great environment in a role that offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.HGV Mechanic responsibilities and dutiesPerform minor and major repairs on lorries and trailersConduct regular preventative maintenance on service lorries, including inspection, tyre rotation and oil changesMaintain parts inventory and cleanliness in the shopCollaborate with repair team to diagnose problems with vehicles and plan repairsPerform regular diagnostic tests on trucksMaintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehiclesHGV Mechanic qualifications and skills5+ years experience as an HGV MechanicRelevant Training/Qualifications: HGV Mechanics/Motors Mechanics/Plant MechanicsPhysically fit and able to safely carry out heavy liftingExcellent reading and writing skillsJBRP1_UKTJ
