Air Export Operator I’m currently working with a well established freight forwarder in Dartford that’s looking for an Air Export Operator with AOG experience to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, time-critical operations role and wants to work with a company that truly values its staff.Location: Dartford, UKSalary: £28,000 - £35,000The RoleYou’ll be responsible for handling time-critical air export shipments with a strong focus on AOGs and urgent logistics. This role requires quick decision-making, excellent communication, and the ability to manage high-pressure situations while ensuring shipments are delivered on time.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle air export operations, specialising in AOG and urgent shipmentsLiaise directly with airlines, ground handling agents, and overseas partners to secure upliftPrepare and issue Air Waybills and all export documentationComplete UK customs export entries via CDSTrack, trace, and proactively update customers on urgent movementsTroubleshoot delays and provide rapid solutions to keep freight movingEnsure compliance with aviation security, export, and industry regulationsHandle job invoicing, costings, and maintain accurate recordsWhat My Client Is Looking ForExperience in air freight exportsProven background in AOG/time-critical logisticsKnowledge of UK export customs systems & processes (CDS)Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems quicklyStrong communicator with excellent customer service skillsHighly organised with exceptional attention to detailUK-based freight forwarding background (essential)No sponsorship is available — applicants must have the right to work in the UK.If this sounds like the next step in your career, send me a message or apply directly — I’d be happy to talk you through the company, culture, and what makes this opportunity stand out.
