Job Title:HGV Class 1 Tramper DriverJob Description:We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Tramper to join our team. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary.Responsibilities:Safely operate and manoeuvre an HGV Class 1 vehicle in compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.Transport goods and materials between specified locations, adhering to delivery schedules and deadlines.Conduct pre-use and post-use inspections of the vehicle and/or trailer to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance issues promptly.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and hours worked in compliance with legal and company requirements.Adhere to all relevant health and safety guidelines, ensuring the safety of yourself and others at all times.Communicate effectively with management, dispatchers, customers, and colleagues to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.Requirements:Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving licence.Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).Digital Tachograph Card.Minimum of one year's experience as an HGV Class 1 driver.Excellent driving record with no more than 6 points on your licence.Strong knowledge of UK road regulations and driving laws.Benefits:Competitive salary including night out allowance.Pension scheme and other benefits package.Opportunities for career advancement and professional development.Supportive and inclusive work environment.
