We are looking for a Data Cabling Technician to join a growing technical services team. The role involves installing and maintaining structured cabling, ensuring high-quality, tidy, and professional finishes for a variety of environments including offices, schools, and commercial premises. This is a hands-on role where you will be trusted to plan, run, and deliver projects with professionalism and attention to detail. What you will be doing: Installing and terminating Cat5e and Cat6 cabling Testing and fault-finding on cabling infrastructure Installing patch panels and network points Carrying out cable pulls and ensuring neat, well-presented cabling Rectifying cabling errors and network connectivity issues Installing PoE-powered devices such as CCTV cameras Supporting the wider team with occasional AV or fibre cabling projects What we are looking for: Strong knowledge of Cat5e and Cat6 cabling (fibre knowledge desirable but not essential) Ability to work independently and manage your workload under time pressures Commitment to high standards of workmanship, with neat and tidy results Awareness of health and safety requirements for cabling installations Full UK driving licence Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check Whats in it for you: Salary between 28,000 32,000 Company van and mobile phone provided Opportunities to expand skills into fibre optics and AV systems Supportive team environment with varied projects TPBN1_UKTJ
