Civil & Groundworks Housing Infrastructure Estimator Location: South East England Sector: Residential Housing Infrastructure & Groundworks We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in civil engineering and housing infrastructure projects. This is an opportunity to join a well-established contractor in the South East, recognised for delivering high-quality groundworks and reinforced concrete frame solutions across residential developments. The business has seen rapid growth since its incorporation in 2018, now operating with a turnover of approximately 4.8 million and employing close to 90 staff. With a reputation for reliability and technical excellence, they are continuing to expand their portfolio of housing infrastructure projects, making this a pivotal time to join their commercial team. Key Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates for housing infrastructure and groundworks projects. Analyse tender documentation, drawings, and specifications. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing. Provide detailed breakdowns of labour, plant, and material costs. Support bid submissions and contribute to project planning. Requirements: Proven experience as an Estimator within civil engineering, groundworks, or housing infrastructure. Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete frames and residential groundworks. Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
