Technical Officer

Dawson Jones Recruitment is supporting a well established organisation to appoint a Technical Officer within their property services team. This role centres on contractor management, quality assurance, budget control and delivering high standards of customer service.Is your CV ready If so, and you are confident this is the role for you, make sure to apply asap.The RoleYou will take responsibility for day to day responsive repairs and minor works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to agreed standards.Key responsibilities include:Managing responsive repairs and minor works in occupied propertiesCarrying out inspections, diagnosing defects and specifying remedial worksSupervising contractors and ensuring works are delivered to agreed quality, cost and timescale standardsReconciling valuations, approving variations and controlling project budgetsMinimising financial, operational and health and safety risksResponding to complex repair cases and customer escalationsMonitoring contractor performance and ensuring compliance with agreed standardsProviding technical advice and guidance to colleagues and internal stakeholdersYou will demonstrate:Relevant qualification such as HNC, BTech, CIOB, RICS or equivalent experienceExperience delivering building works in occupied homesStrong contractor supervision and performance managementSound technical knowledge of construction and construction related health and safetyExperience managing budgets and controlling project costsConfident decision making and problem solving skillsA genuine customer focused approachFull UK driving licenceFor a confidential discussion, contact Claire Harrison at Dawson Jones Recruitment.Dawson Jones Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer. xjdpvnf All applications will be handled in line with our privacy policy.
