Job DescriptionFinance Manager40,000 50,000We are recruiting for a talented Finance Manager to join an owner managed business, based near Maidenhead, in a stand-alone accounting role. The role would be ideal for an accounting professional who has worked within an engineering, manufacturing or servicing environment, but we will consider other sectors.This is a full time, office-based role that will manage the accounts department, supporting the continued success of the business.As the Finance Manager, your responsibilities Production of monthly management accountsAll aspects of bookkeeping Liaising with the management team to ensure the smooth functioning of the businessProducing VAT returnsIn-house payroll production for a small teamEmployee expensesProduction of daily cash reportsYear-end accounts productionLiaising with auditorsConsolidation of group accountsGeneral finance duties as requiredLiaising with suppliers and Credit ControlDealing with utilities, insurances, company contracts and other administrative dutiesIdeal skills, experience and attributes:Demonstrable accounts and finance experience gained within a similar roleFormal qualification isnt essential for this role; however, you will be qualified by experienceBe able to work independently and comfortable in a collaborative team environmentHave good general IT skills and accounting software experience Sage would be idealExcellent communication skillsThe client offers a discretionary profit related bonus, dependent on company results, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and a friendly, very supportive work environment.
