Job Description Senior Finance Manager Technical Accounting & Consolidation required for a FTSE-listed business (Hybrid Maidenhead)80,000 90,000 + car allowance, Pension, healthcare, holiday Office located in Maidenhead (3 days a week in the office)Stanton House are partnering with a well-established, FTSE-listed business with a strong national presence delivering high-profile infrastructure projects. As part of a broader drive to enhance financial governance and reporting capability, the business is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join its central Group Finance team.This is a key leadership role within the technical accounting and consolidation function, responsible for group external reporting, managing consolidations across multiple entities, and supporting complex technical accounting matters. The successful candidate will coordinate the external audit, provide high-quality technical advice, and deputise for the Head of Technical Accounting & Consolidation.Youll be joining a high-performing finance team with regular exposure to senior stakeholders, offering excellent progression opportunities within a dynamic, forward-thinking environment.Key Requirements:Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) with 5+ years of post-qualified experienceStrong technical knowledge of IFRS and group consolidationsExperience in a senior technical accounting or external audit roleTrack record of producing and reviewing statutory accounts and disclosuresAbility to communicate complex accounting matters to senior non-finance stakeholdersStrong analytical, project management, and team leadership skillsExperience within construction or long-term contract accounting (IFRS 15) desirableKey Responsibilities:Lead the preparation and review of group and subsidiary consolidations on a quarterly basisCoordinate and manage the external audit process, acting as key contact for auditorsReview and produce technical accounting papers and board-level financial disclosuresOversee segmental and statutory reporting in line with IFRS and Companies Act requirementsSupport complex accounting areas such as IFRS 16, IFRS 9, IFRS 2, and goodwill impairment testingProvide technical accounting advice across the business, including reviewing proposals and papersMaintain and promote the group accounting manual, delivering training as requiredDrive process improvement across reporting, consolidation, and technical accounting activitiesDeputise for the Head of Technical Accounting & Consolidation, supporting strategic initiativesIf you meet the above-mentioned criteria, please apply below.
