Job SummaryWe are seeking a talented and innovative Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in architectural design and project management, with proficiency in various design software. You will work on a wide range of retail, cinema, leisure, and mixed-use projects, contributing across all RIBA stages from concept to completion.DutiesLead and manage projects, liaising directly with clients and stakeholders.Develop design solutions and produce high-quality drawings and technical details using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.Mentor and support junior team members, including Part 1 and Part 2 Assistants.Oversee planning applications and building regulation submissions.Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and gather necessary data for design development.Collaborate with construction teams to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently.Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.Engage in negotiations with clients and contractors to resolve issues and ensure project success.Prepare presentations using Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and SketchUp for client meetings and project pitches.ExperienceARB-registered Architect with 2+ years UK based relevant experience.Excellent design and technical skills.Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.Strong communication and leadership abilities.Experience across multiple RIBA work stages.Proven experience in architectural design with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects.Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.A degree in Architecture is essential; additional certifications or qualifications are advantageous.What we offerCompetitive salary up to £50,000 (Flexible for the right candidate)Discretionary quarterly and annual bonuses based on company performance.Support with further training and professional development.Opportunities to grow your career in a supportive practice.Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (with regular 4:00pm Friday finishes).This is an exciting opportunity for an Architect looking to make a significant impact within our organisation while working on diverse projects.
