Youll identify new opportunities, build strong partnerships, and help shape sustainable, person-centred solutions that meet the needs of commissioners, stakeholders, and the individuals we support.This is a fantastic role for someone who thrives on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and influencing positive change across the health, education, and social care landscape.What Youll Be DoingPartnerships & EngagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers across commissioning bodiesProactively identify new business opportunities across Residential and Education servicesPromote cross-divisional collaboration to ensure we maximise all opportunitiesReferral Pipeline & Customer ExperienceManage and maintain the referral process, working closely with the Head of Business DevelopmentDrive the referral pipeline to meet organisational KPIsEngage directly with stakeholders to discuss, shape, and progress referralsEnsure timely, clear communication with operational leaders to support informed placement decisionsProvide exceptional internal and external customer serviceInsight, Reporting & StrategyDevelop systems to capture and act on customer feedbackMaintain accurate, up-to-date recordsProduce reports on market trends, forecasts, and account analysisConduct market research to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for expansionSupport commercial modelling, pricing, and costing of new services in collaboration with financeCollaboration & InnovationWork closely with operational leaders to create innovative, person-centred service modelsRespond to opportunities with high-quality, compelling proposalsRepresent Bright Futures at regional and national forums, events, and networking opportunitiesWhat Were Looking For:Experience & KnowledgeExperience in business development, commissioning, or commercial roles within social careUnderstanding of referrals and transitions within the social care sectorKnowledge of commissioning processes, funding models, and regulatory frameworks in health, social care, or education (Desirable)Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship managementStrong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work collaboratively across multiple teamsConfident working independently and managing deadlinesHighly organised with strong problem-solving capabilitiesWhy Bright Futures?A values-driven organisation making a real differenceExciting time of growth and innovationSupportive, collaborative working cultureOpportunities for professional developmentThe chance to shape services that genuinely change livesSalary & Benefits45,000.00 (plus discretionary bonus)Healthcare Cashback (dental, optical, physio, wellbeing)Care Friends Referral rewards up to 2000Bright Stars bonus scheme & Employee of the Month awardsFree Meals at workLife Assurance Policy 2x salaryCycle to Work SchemeSafeguarding RequirementSuccessful applicants will be required to undertake an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
