Their Lymington-based precision engineering division is known for producing highly complex, tight-tolerance components and assemblies, supported by state-of-the-art machining capabilities and a strong reputation for quality and innovation.The OpportunityAs a Production Engineer, youll play a key role in bringing complex components to life from programming and proving out CNC processes to driving continuous improvement across production. This is a hands-on, technically challenging role where your expertise will directly impact quality, efficiency, and manufacturing capability. What Youll Be DoingDevelop online & offline CNC programs from engineering drawings and 3D modelsSet, prove, and optimise programs across 3, 4 & 5-axis machining centresCreate process plans, routings, and documentation within ERP systems (IFS)Design fixtures, tooling, and manufacturing solutionsAnalyse and improve existing machining methodsInvestigate production issues and implement root cause solutionsCollaborate closely with engineering, quality, and shop floor teamsProduce 2D stage drawings and 3D models to support manufactureDrive continuous improvement and best practice across productionWhat Were Looking ForMinimum 5 years experience in manufacturing engineeringStrong CNC programming capability (multi-axis milling/turning)Experience with Mazak Integrex machines (highly desirable)Solid understanding of GD&T and tight tolerance machiningAbility to work with a wide range of materials and treatmentsExperience with CAD/CAM systems (Mastercam advantageous)Knowledge of ERP systems (IFS preferred)Confident working independently and within a teamPassion for engineering excellence and continuous improvementQualificationsEngineering qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)Apprentice-trained (desirable)Full UK driving licenceEligibility to work in the UKWhats in It for You?Competitive salary + profit share schemeExcellent pension & life assurance34 days holiday (incl. bank holidays)Health cash plan & wellbeing supportCycle to Work schemeEmployee discounts & assistance programmeFree on-site parkingReal career progression opportunities within a global engineering groupWorking HoursMonday Thursday: 7:30am 4:30pmFriday: 8:00am 1:00pmWhy Apply?
