Job Description At Parkdean Resorts, were looking for an enthusiastic and safetyfocused Assistant Activity & Leisure Manager to help deliver our swimming pool and onpark activity programme. This handson role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fastpaced leisure environment and enjoys leading teams, supporting guest experience, and ensuring safe and compliant operations.nAs an Assistant Activity & Leisure Manager, youll work closely with the Activity & Leisure Manager to ensure all swimming pool and activity operations run safely, smoothly, and to the highest standard. Youll support team leadership, ensure compliance with operational and safety procedures, and help deliver a fun, engaging programme for guests of all ages.nWhat you will be doing...nnSupport the delivery of the swimming pool and activities programme to an excellent standard, ensuring outstanding guest service.nPrepare and support with weekly staffing rotas in line with operational needs and compliance requirements.nEnsure guest and team safety by following all health 'safety, safeguarding, and operational procedures.nAssist in maintaining pool plant equipment, reporting issues promptly, and ensuring facilities operate safely and efficiently.nCarry out water quality and chemical testing, taking corrective action where required, and maintaining accurate records.nFollow correct opening and closing procedures for pool facilities, plant rooms, and equipment.nSupport the handling of guest feedback and complaints, ensuring quick and positive resolutions.nHelp supervise, coach, and develop leisure and lifeguard teams, contributing to regular 121s and ongoing performance support.nnAbout you...nnA valid NPLQ Lifeguard qualification, or you are a strong swimmer willing to achieve it.nExperience supporting or managing a team within leisure, hospitality, or a customerfocused environment.nStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with team members and guests.nGood commercial awareness with an understanding of guest experience and operational efficiency.nA First Aid at Work qualification (desirable).nPool Plant Operations or Lifeguard Trainer Assessor qualifications (desirable).nFlexibility to work varied shifts including weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.nA friendly, guestfocused mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional leisure experiences.nnSo, why Parkdean Resorts?nWell, besides the one-of-a-kind team culture, stunning locations across the UK, and the chance to work with the UK's largest holiday park organisation, we can offer:nnThe chance to develop your skills and boost your career across our 65 parks weve got your back when it comes to training!nYoure never on your own with our Employee Assistance Programme!
