HGV Class 1 Night Driver

HGV CLASS 1 NIGHT DRIVER People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Night Driver to join our well-established client based in Lutterworth, Leicestershire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress. Shifts: Sunday Thursday: Start times 21:00 Rates of Pay: 19.00 20.00 per hour Benefits: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: Complete 23 store deliveries per shift (curtain-side work unloading via FLT) Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loading and unloading of cargo when required Essential Skills: Valid UK Category CE Licence Minimum of 12 months' experience driving CE vehicles FLT Counterbalance experience within the last 5 years (required for store unloading) No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card Good spoken and written English Excellent punctuality and timekeeping Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience: Previous commercial driving experience Previous multi-drop experience Training Provided: Driver's assessment must be completed before starting Apply Today Don't Miss Out!
