Job Title: Vehicle Polisher Location: [Bruntingthorpe Reports To: Detailing Supervisor / Shop Manager Job Type: Temp to Perm Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Polisher to join our team. The Vehicle Polisher is responsible for restoring and enhancing the appearance of vehicles by polishing, buffing, and finishing exterior surfaces to a high standard. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining our reputation for quality. Key Responsibilities Wash, prepare, and inspect vehicles before polishing. Perform machine and hand polishing to remove scratches, swirl marks, and other imperfections. Apply waxes, sealants, and protective coatings to vehicle surfaces. Conduct paint correction and restoration as required. Maintain and operate polishing tools and equipment safely and effectively. Ensure vehicles are finished to the highest standard before delivery to customers. Report any paint or bodywork defects discovered during the polishing process. Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations. Collaborate with detailing and paint teams to meet deadlines and quality expectations. Requirements Previous experience in automotive detailing or vehicle polishing preferred. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to operate polishing machines, buffers, and related tools. Knowledge of different paint finishes and polishing techniques. Physical stamina to work on feet for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks. Valid drivers license (if required to move vehicles). Good communication and teamwork skills.
