Legal Officer

Job Description Working closely with the Head of Legal & Contracts, you'll play a key part in supporting the business with commercial risk management, contract negotiation and legal compliance. Youll work across sales, projects and wider operational teams, providing clear, timely advice on contractual matters and helping to ensure the company is protected and aligned with current legislation and internal policies.You'll be joining a supportive, friendly team where youll work on a wide variety of upstream and downstream contracts, making this a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both independence and collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal and contractual advice to internal teamsReview, draft and manage contracts, subcontracts, NDAs and framework agreementsIdentify, assess and mitigate contractual and commercial risksEnsure compliance with relevant legislation, internal policies and external directivesSupport negotiations and assist with resolving contractual disputesStructure and review partnership arrangements and collaborative agreementsSupport proposal development and commercial terms for new business opportunitiesMaintain accurate contract records and oversee documentation managementAttend internal project meetings and contribute to commercial decisionmakingBuild and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholdersAbout YouYou will thrive in this role if you're proactive, detailfocused and confident managing your own workload in a fastmoving environment.
